Q-Sampler Loads Samples Very Slowly and Significantly Slows Down Project Saving

Hello everyone,

I've been experiencing issues with the Q Sampler in Logic Pro. For example, loading a small .wav sample of just 9KB takes about 15 seconds. It has been slow since the beginning, but I initially considered it normal. However, after updating to Logic 11, the performance worsened significantly.

Additionally, saving a project that contains only this single Q Sampler now takes around 20 seconds. In larger projects with just one instance of Q Sampler, saving can take even longer. For comparison, I created another project with four different instruments from Arturia and NI, and it saved almost instantly.

I’ve tested loading the sample both from an external SSD and the internal drive, but the loading time remains the same. I also reinstalled Logic, but this didn’t resolve the issue. With other DAWs, I can work on samples without any problems.

Does anyone know what might be causing this, or how to fix it?

My setup: MacBook Air M1, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, macOS Sonoma 14.7.2, Logic Pro 11.1.1
