iOS app to overlay videos?

The title pretty much says it all. I can't seem to figure out how to overlay and resize one video on top of another like I can easily in FCPX. Have tried capcut, iMovie, filmora.

So is there an iOS app that includes this editing capability? They all seem to force the clips into a linear timeline, and won't allow me to overlay.

I can do this in FPCX of course, but for silly little IG vids and Tiktoks, it would just be faster on the phone.

Thanks

iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18

Quick Google revealed this,

To add a transparent layer in Apple iMovie, you can use the cutaway feature to adjust the opacity of a clip:

  1. In the iMovie app, select a clip or range in the timeline that you want to cut away to
  2. Drag the clip above another clip in the timeline
  3. Click the Video Overlay Settings button if the video overlay controls aren't shown
  4. Drag the Opacity slider to adjust the opacity of the cutaway clip
  5. Click the Apply button in the cutaway controls to apply the change
