Migartion Assitant between Windows 11 PC and M4 mac Mini

Is it possible to just connect an Ethernet cable between the Windows 11 PC (Dell Inspiron 3670) and the M4 mac Mini and expect Migration Assistant to use it? I tried just turning off Wi-Fi on both machines, but the PC always fails to connect to the mac.

Also, Wi-Fi will connect but is painfully slow. I would really prefer to use an Ethernet cable if at all possible.
