Apple Home and Linksys router in bridge mode.

I've been trying to connect a Philips Hue bridge (via Apple Home) to my WRT1900ACS router, so far no success. My router is in bridge mode though; Apple Home doesn't connect.Any thoughts? Thanks!

Does that even have anything to do with the router? I have tried the Hue bridge HomeKit setup with two different routers and had the same failure to connect on both of them. The router I'm using now is a brand new Gateway router from AT&T. I haven't had any problems connecting any of my other HomeKit devices. I'm using an iPhone13 and an AppleTV 4K. Has anyone been able to successfully connect a Phillips Hue bridge to Apple Home?

Can my Mac mini understand that is connected to Wifi via the Ethernet cable? Hi, I have a Mac mini that I have connected to my router. I also have an access point connected to the router. This is office-type access point that is in bridge mode. My phones and ipads connect via this access point. They all get IP addresses in the same subnet. When I try to use some of the continuity features, the Mac asks me turn on Wifi. I would like to keep the network topology as it is. I have all the high bandwidth clients connected via cable, and I have the access point placed for maximising the coverage. The Mac mic mini is placed next to the router, and the access point is further away. Is there a way to tell it that it is connected to wifi, just via the cable?

What is the difference between the AmpliFi Alien Router and the Linksys Velop AX4200? I have a Motorola MB8611 modem and would like to purchase a new router. What is the difference between the AmpliFi Alien Router and the Linksys Velop AX4200 WiFi 6 Mesh System. Do I need an extender for the AmpliFi Alien Router or should i consider the Linksys Velop AX4200 WiFi 6 Mesh System pack 2 if my modem is at one end of the house and my Mac is at the other end ?
