Slow Airplay connection for Apple Music on Sonos speakers

Hi there.

I'm having struggle to use Music (Apple app), when I want to play music via my Sonos speakers (airplay 2). It does take around 15 seconds to start playing the first Music tune. What can I do to improve this to use less time?

My Mac is on a 1Gb Lan, and my speakers are on WiFi 2.4Ghz from the same router.

Apple Music not connecting to Airplay device I've just updated Monterey with the latest security updates ver 12.6.4, as a result I can no longer connect to my Airplay speakers from Apple Music. When I choose the Airplay icon in Music it still plays through the internal speakers. I then have to go to the sound prefs in the menu bar and select Airplay from there. Previously they worked independently of each other, meaning that if I wanted to hear something on my mac i would just have to turn the volume down In Music app. Anyone know how to fix this or having the same issue?

Sonos airplay and Music on Mac When playing Music on my Mac, I often loose the airplay connection with my sonos. This is solved by quitting Music and restarting it, but it is a bit annoying. Has someone experienced the same problems. I am running the latest Mac-os Ventura, and my Sonos are running the latest version of the sonos software. I now experience this problem since at least a year, so this is not related to a specific version of the software.

Airplay intermittent after updating MacBook Air to Sonoma 14.0 After the OS update, Airplay will work for a couple of songs, then silence. The track is still playing but no sound. Fast forwarding to the next track gets sound happening again until the next glitch. I'm sending music to a Sonos Port, which is up to date firmware wise. Cheers.
