I have been using Motion for a few years, never had any problems until now. I save my effects to FCPX after creating in Motion. I recently deleted a Motion effect in the FCPX installed effects menu, and now my effects will not save to FCPX (coincidence?) - I uninstalled Motion and reinstalled. but still having this issue.

Click the icon I circled in the image posted above - that is in FCP itself, not the Finder.
If I’m right, you already have everything set up correctly.
