iPhone 16 pro is getting charged over the limit set.
I have set the limit to 90% and the battery is getting charged more than the limit after IOS18.2 update.
is this a known issue now ?

Because it's not a hard limit. As it says in the article Jeff linked to:
Your iPhone will charge to within a few percentage points of your chosen limit and then stop charging.
So it may stop charging a bit under the set limit, or it may go over. As Jeff said, this is perfectly normal and not anything to stress about.

If it doesn’t charge to 100%, how does it know what 100% is?
This will occasionally happen and may happen several times in a row. It’s a normal and expected occurrence.

I do understand the optimized battery charging, my concern is why the iPhone is getting charged over the limit set ?
