Cannot put apps on my home screen iPhone with ios18

Why can't I drag apps on to my first home screen from the other secondary home screens, only widgets are available via the edit menus (top left). Is this a normal function or an other reason? iPhone with ios18

Unable to add a new Home Screen page on my iPhone 16 Pro Max with iOS 18.5 I have been trying to add a new Home Screen page with no luck. I am running iOS 18.5. I know how to do it. When I swipe past the last page, it just shows my App Library. If I try to drag an icon pass the last page it just tries to drag it onto the App Library page, and then it flies off the screen. Missing app pages on iPhone 16 home screen On my home screen iPhone 16 i can only see 3 pages one is an apps page but this not the first page. If i swipe right i get the control page if i swipe left i get the apps in small square boxes how do i get back to all four of my apps pages? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

The picture below should help clarify why the apps are added to the App Library.
