Feedback/ Support request to Apple requesting better support for external microphones with "Hey Siri" on the Mac Mini M4. Not everyone can afford a Studio Display.
I would like to talk directly to SIRI without having to first click the SIRI icon when using an external microphone. This should also work when in active,lockdown or sleep mode.
My new mac mini m4 and siri don't play well together. My Brio web cam's mic seems not to be recognized by Siri. But the mic is recognized by Facetime, zoom etc.
So far Apple Intelligence has none. I have searched the web and this is a common issue it seems. And I can't find a simple fix that doesn't just send me to a thread that is as helpful as an infinite loop.

Apologies if I confused you. I had already sent feedback to Apple then cut and paste the question. My question for support/workarounds is open to the community also.
If you cannot afford a Mac Studio display there is the LG and Samsung 5K displays that may do what you need. In addition, there are any number of displays that have microphones in them, you just need to research which ones would work with Siri on a M4 MM.
