Notifications not showing on lock screen after IOS update 18.2.

I installed update 18.2 last night on iPhone 13 and now notifications are not showing on lock screen even though the alerts are sounding. All the settings are the same and I need emails to show on my screen. I have rebooted and checked everything else. I'm not sure what else I can do?

CHILL! Lectures are not necessary when someone is asking a question. Seeking help can be hard enough and even harder for those who don't like to ask for help. Support is meant to be supportive.

I've recently encountered this, sadly my issue does not appear to be related to the update of the OIS 18.2 or it would have started before today. I'm going through removing recently updated apps with no luck. I've changed all my settings I could possibly change to try to get them to appear. I can hear the notifications but my screen remains dark till I double tap it. Issue is on a brand new iphone 16. I look forward to this being fixed as well as any feedback and suggestions to fix this. If you plan on lecturing instead of offering any real support, feel free to ignore my posting.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
