Apple pages keep duplicating and making new files in iCloud

I have over 200k apple pages files, that keep duplicating. I dont no what to do, i have tired deltiting. Its all on icloud . its just random files that i dont know where its from

I finally had to go back several days in TM to restore older versions without the recent updates and edits from the missing day. Apple Tech support says they have no idea what happened and without any backups there’s nothing they can do; they were disinterested in trying to figure out why it happened and left it as a polite kiss-off. Now, the Pages app is gone from iCloud, and the files into iCloud Drive. Is anyone having Pages problems, or have any idea what’s going on?

Unknown Pdf appeared then disappeared in Files I check my Files folder every now and then to make sure I have no sign of malware presence. Today I checked and saw a pdf with a website title I visited over the last week (without downloading anything from it nor clicking on ads) date of 5 days ago. I clicked on it twice to visualise it but it wouldn’t open. I clicked on some option, now I don’t remember, maybe “edit” or “open” and it disappeared. Now it’s nowhere to be found. Why was there a pdf file in first place and why it disappeared? Settings: no app has authorised access to Files - iCloud backup has always been off - iCloud sync was maybe still on on the day the file is dated but I’m not too sure, also I haven’t manually synced anything, maybe the last updated set it like that - I cleared website data on Safari yesterday. Modifications aren't in sync Since upgrading to Sonoma I'm constantly getting 'Modifications aren't in sync' errors with Pages files stored in iCloud. They appear to be on the same file with identical modified time stamp. But one file has .pages file extension and one doesn't. I have tried restarts and logging out of iCloud and logging back in to refresh files. Is anyone else having this issue or a way to stop it?
