Siri AI multi-language option/support

We have HomePods throughout our house. However I prefer English and my wife prefers Spanish. With the current updates, are there any options to support the ability for Siri on the HomePods to understand and respond in more than one language simultaneously? For instance, Alexa has offered this for a very long time and it is something that Apple has been lacking. With the current Apple Intelligence options and updates with Siri has this been fixed??
