HomePod Humidity Sensor Automation Doesn’t Work

Set an automation that turns on an outlet in a room when the humidity drops below 30%. But it never triggers. Why? How can I make it work?

HomePod mini not showing Temp/Humidity for other resident's in the Home App, only the Owner can see Recently updated the HomePod and all device *OS's to 16.3. The Owner of the home in the Home app can see temp and humidity and is able to ask siri from their device to display it. Other residents including an admin cannot see temp and humidity. Siri on their devices says "Hmm, there are no accessories that support that..."

Climate broken AGAIN in HomePod/homepod mini after tvOS 18.2 It was going so well after Apple knackered the climate features in one of the tvOS 17.x updates, but now they’ve done it again with 18.2. I’m assuming I’m not alone in having this issue? HomePod 2nd gen and four HomePod minis all upgraded to tvOS 18.2 last week and all showing “No Response” for temp/humidity when I check the home app on my iPhone 12mini running iOS 18.2. Checking the individual HomePods gear icons in the home app under Accessories for the separate temp/humidity sensors shows “This accessory is not responding.” When I interrogate the HomePod 2 directly and ask the temperature/humidity it answers that the sensor didn’t respond, however the HomePod minis will answer (correctly - I have a small digital temp/humidity monitor) and then state the sensor failed to respond 😅 An additional wrinkle is that the home app on my 4th gen iPad Air running iPadOS 18.2 shows a red dot on the gear icon for each HomePod/homepod mini, indicating update available, but when I tap it the bubble with the upgrade button quickly disappears. This isn’t true of the home app on my iPhone. So looks like something goofed up here. I’d hate to do yet another factory reset on these things just for this - especially given when I tried that for this issue in the past it had no effect, so hopefully tvOS 18.2.1 isn’t far behind!

HomePod mini temp & humidity sensor accuracy Hi, mine HomePod mini updated to 16.3 first seemed to be accurate comparing to nearby humidifier but after a few days it shows temp +1C compering to the same humidifier and contactless thermometer. I’ve checked HomePod mini temperature itself and it is +1C higher than ambient temperature and music is just streaming very quietly. Any clue?

It used to work but it stopped working recently. Apple must have messed with something up the new updates.
