How do I reset iPhone 16 Pro Max during setup

My new iphone 16 pro max is turned on , and stuck in the welcome hello message, when i swipe up in order the key numeric pad appear to enter the passcode ,it appears only for less than a second and i can not catch it to enter the passcode !! The phone is new and in process of setting it up . Thanks
