Why can’t I reply to comments on posts?

Why can’t I reply to comments on posts. The reply button is greyed out. And yes I am logged in.

Why can't I see comments in Substack but others can? When reading posts in Substack I can see where X number of people have left comments. However, when I choose to leave a comment, the are no comments showing. Additionally, others have replied to my comment, which tells me they can see other’s comments. Where am I missing the switch? I cannot reply to posts I cannot reply to posts... here's what I post first.... FYI - I'll say in advance, if this reply goes thru that's great, but it usually doesn't. So far it most always says... "Your post could not be saved. Please try again in a few moments" ...instead of submitting my reply or question. ...so I cannot come back to thank you or speak again. So thank you if you did try to help me! ...so first, how do I get the reply to submit....
