i had the same issue when I changed the language and region to my original country location (Australia) after official public release of 18.2 because I no longer needed my language set to USA anymore. So I fixed it by still leaving my language set to my country but kept the region set to USA and straight away it came back. Hopefully this helps you.

@em1016 led me to a solution.

I’m in the UK - I went to Settings > General > Language & Region and changed the Region (not the language) to United States.

I then opened Playground and it worked.

I then reset the region BACK to United Kingdom and it still worked.

This seems like a bug to me - I wonder if the AI tools are going into an update mode whenever there is an update made to the US model, but it’s doing that worldwide even when the update for your region isn’t there yet, or something isn’t tying up outside the US. It would be interesting if anyone having issues is in the US.

Resetting your phone is not a solution for this problem, it’s just masking a problem that will reappear the next time an updated model shows up.

I fixed mine. Was in the same boat. Did everything that is online to fix it and nothing worked, until...

This may be annoying, but thankfully it is not complicated. Just takes time to redownload.

1) Go to your iCloud settings in Settings app.

2) Go to the back up settings and back up your iPhone to iCloud.

3) Then completely erase iPhone.

4) Restore your phone from the iCloud backup.

My Apple Intelligence works like a charm now!

Hi Tamerg76,

I recommend connecting your device to a stable Wi-Fi network and plugging it in to charge.

If the issue persists, it might help to delete and reinstall the app. This method often resolves similar problems.

Additionally, it seems that Apple is rolling out the update in batches, which could explain the message you’re seeing.

I truly hope this helps resolve the matter for you!

Try these steps

1) Go to settings > General > Transfer Reset iPhone

2) Click “Get Started” to temporary iCloud backup your iPhone for 21 days

3) Connect iPhone to iTunes on PC or MAC

4) Restore IOS 18.2 via iTunes, it will erase everything on your iPhone and reinstall the IoS 18.2

5) Once iPhone restart, setup it as a new phone.

6) Restore your iPhone from the temporary iCloud backup.

Good Luck
