Just recently, my CarPlay won’t connect on my Volvo XC 90. I’ve tried all the tips provided and nothing works now. I’ve also disconnected my car from CarPlay to try to reconnect it and it won’t even give me that option. Can somebody help me please?

I agree. It seems to be related to the most recent iOS upgrade. So frustrating, because all of our phones worked perfectly on our 2019 Volvo XC90. Now, AppleCare play icon is grayed out and will not connect. I’ve downloaded updates on the vehicle, reset phone and vehicle, tried alternate cables, etc; still, nothing.
