Podcast queue re-ordering

Podcast queue reordering issue on Apple Podcasts The newest version has changed the ease of ordering my podcast queue. I listen to several podcasts, but I want to try and listen to them in a certain order. When I go to my queue to change the order, it doesn’t allow me to drag the change. Or should I say, I can drag an episode to where I want it in the queue, but then it snaps back to its original position in the queue. Or sometimes I can change one, exit, and then come back to change another, exit, and so on. Is this user error or something that needs to be on Apple’s end? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Automatic download of Podcasts gets paused randomly It happens occasionally that for a podcast I follow and have ‚Automatic Download‘ activated that stops happening. And when I open the show it says: ‚You haven't listened in a while. Automatic Downloads are paused‘. However that is not the case. It happens for Podcasts which release a new episode every 2-4 weeks and I listen to each new episode within days.

How can I stop my Podcasts from auto-queuing? Any suggestions on how to stop podcast from automatically going into the Up Next queue? In addition, they are also being marked just played when they go into that queue. The continuous playback is off and fortunately has stopped, but this is very irritating. To make sure I don’t lose anything I download all of my new releases. Thanks for any fixes. I am updated to iOS 18. [Re-Titled By Moderator]
