iPad problem after the recent 18.1.1 update
Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had problems with their iPad after the 18.1.1 update.
I can’t load any pages, can’t work apps.
Thanks,
Pip

The nature of your problem is unclear. If you are experiencing any difficulties after performing a system software update, try a forced restart - as this will often clear a post-update software issue:
Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)
If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:
Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)
Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
If difficulties persist, WiFi and Internet connection difficulties are usually an indication that your device does not have a routable IP Address - your IP Address usually being assigned by DHCP. When this occurs, your iPad may only have a self-assigned link-local IP address that begins 169.254.x.x.
If you have a VPN App or profiles installed, or a security App such as Norton, these may be interfering with your iPad's network connection. If applicable, the resolution is usually simple; if installed, you may only need to temporarily disable or remove the Security App and/or VPN.
If this resolves your issue, the VPN and/or security App can be reinstated after the connectivity problem has been resolved.
You are very welcome. I'm delighted that your problem has been successfully resolved.
Thank you!
Thought it was an update glitch but it’s all good now 😊
