Siri Apple Intelligence Annoying Activation Typing on iPad

When I’m typing on my iPad using the onscreen keyboard, Apple intelligence keeps activating, likely because the home bar at the bottom of the screen is picking up my thumb pressing the space bar, even though I am just trying to type, and thinks I’m double tapping the home bar to activate Siri. So instead of being able to type, I keep getting the Apple Intelligence / Siri activation, due to the double-tap-home-to-activate-Siri. I need to turn this off (or Apple needs to redesign it), and I can’t figure out how to do that — how do I turn off double tap home button to activate Siri, so it stops popping up while I’m typing? It’s really interrupting my flow, and I can’t finish typing a sentence without it activating.
