Manage devices associated with my https://discussions.apple.com account

My iPhone SE 1st generation died recently and I promptly replaced it with an iPhone SE 3rd generation. I gave it the same name. Now when I try to post a question to https://discussions.apple.com, I see two devices with the same name. I looked for a device management link under my Profile and my Preferences, but didn't find any. How can I manage the devices associated with my account?

iPhone SE, iOS 15

Use the information in this document to check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in --> Check your Apple Account device list to find where you’re signed in - Apple Support

- Learn which devices appear in your Apple ID device list, how to find your device's details (including if it's a trusted device), and how to remove a device.

- Special section at the end on how to "Permanently remove a device from your account page"

You may need to temporarily rename one of them so you can tell them apart if it is not otherwise obvious.

To change the name of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, follow these steps:

On your device, go to:

1. Settings > General > About > Name

2. Tap the Clear Text button (X), enter a new name, then tap Done

If this is happening in Safari, check your autofill settings.

Actually, I was able to delete the device using my iPhone:

Settings -> My Name

Both devices are listed near the bottom. I can descend into each one to see the iOS version. The old iPhone SE 1st generation has version 15.something, so I simply deleted that. When I went through the motions of posting a new question to discussions.apple.com, the old device was gone. Problem solved.

Thanks anyway!

Glad that worked out.

I've found the forum's current device system is wrong about half the time. I've had it offer me a choice of products I've never owned!

When device identification is critical to getting help here, I find placing the device info in the body of the question is more effective. Ex, "I have a Macbook Pro 15-inch 2019 running Ventura and it is..."

Even when the system is working, it seldom shows all the info we need to effectively help in this "no can see" setting.
