Currently have a group chat with my family. The text box (reply box) keeps disappearing. I have deleted the message multiple times. I have turned off I message several times which helps until I send a message then it disappears again. It only happens in this particular group chat, all others are fine. iPhone 13 on IOS 18.1.1.

I'm struggling with the same problem, have iPhone 14, was happening with IOS 17.? and now updated to 18.2. Have turned off phone, restarted, it appeared again for a brief minute, then disappeared. Restarted again multiple times, no avail. Tried turning iMessages off/on, MMS Messaging is on, Send As Text Message is on. I'm at a loss!!!
Mine in same only I have 16 pro max and it is only on family thread, rest is fine
