How can I revert Photos app to old version?

Ever since the 18.1.1 update the photos app is just disgustingly cluttered now and you can’t even get rid of the worthless junk like documents and handwritting with the edit option only the albums you made. There is to much clutter in the main view and that movie thing when you go to something like favorites is completely unwarranted you’re trying to make google photos #2 and I believe NO ONE wants that. I want the photos app back to how it was before the update aka free of clutter and unnecessary additions. But know you won’t do that could AT LEAST give us the option to what we’re able to do with the hidden album and that is to disable them so they won’t be seen on the main view

I personally don’t wanna see the following:

Days

people

trips

map

selfies

documents

handwriting

illustrations

qr codes

bursts

Have us be able to move the customize and reorder to the main view

If you wanna add something then add a sort by option from oldest to newest

And finally remove that useless movie option in the favorites section it’s unneeded.

Will you do any of that in a patch of some kind?

See the information provided here on removing sections and changing the order of what you see:

Please explain the changes in Photo App w… - Apple Community

It is also in the User Guide with quite a bit more information on the many new features. I would suggest reviewing this to have a better understanding on what can be done:

For answers to the other questions:

It cannot be done.

You are not speaking to Apple here, so no user will have any information on what may be intended in future updates. You do have the option to send Feedback to Apple here:

Not sure if you have read the posts provided here, but you cannot get the previous version of Photos as it is built into iOS. You do have the option to download any other third party photos apps from the App Store that meets your needs. There are many to choose from. You can also send feedback to Apple if you wish to the provided link.

If there is something specific about the Photos app that you don't understand, many users have found that by using the new customization options, they were able to tailor the layout to take advantage of the features that have been provided. This has been shown in the provided link as well.
