"Recent Places" in finder no longer visible when saving a file

I am running an iMac with OS 15.1.1.

When saving files, I used to be able to see a list of "Recent Places" folders in the drop down menu when saving files in the finder window (location). Recently the "Recent Places" list has just vanished. I'm not sure if this occurred due to an update. I used this feature constantly to quickly save files to a recently saved folder.

Does anyone know how to control this or get it back?

FWIW, it's still there in my installs.

Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally. Sometimes that will fix anomalies.
