I have multiple group chats that are with the same exact contacts, same exact numbers, but different chat histories and names. Is there any way to merge them so that we aren't jumping between them and losing track of conversations?

Yesterday, when responding to a family group message. Messages from me were showing up in a new thread. No matter how I replied the others would get a new thread. There are both iPhone and android users in the group. This all just started, did something change? How do I fix it?

I’m having a similar problem. Mostly iPhone users but at least one android. Only some of us are seeing multiple threads and we don’t seem to get a new thread with every reply.
