How to reset Screen Time password on Mac mini?

I was setting up my Mac mini when I accidentally set up screen time, it has a password even though I never set one up. I’ve tried resetting it with my Apple ID and that didn’t work, so I tried a bunch of different Apple ID’s it could’ve been on but all it does is adds to the amount of failed attempts on the password screen. It had share across devices on so now my iPhone and watch have a ton of restrictions that are restricting me from accessing apps that I need for work.

See this on how to remove your screen time passcode

If you don’t want to require a Screen Time passcode any longer, you can remove it.

  1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Screen Time  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. If you’re a parent/guardian in a Family Sharing group, click the Family Member pop-up menu, then choose a family member.
  3. If you don’t see the Family Member pop-up menu, make sure you’re signed in to your Apple Accountand using Family Sharing.
  4. Scroll down, turn off Lock Screen Time Settings, then enter the four-digit passcode (or verify your identity with your password or Touch ID).
