Find feature not working in Pages

I was going through a long doc to change the spelling of one term, but although Pages found 32 instances, it only changed half of them, and changed the capitalization when it replaced. It won't change any more. So, I was simply changing OK to okay (only one instance of which was capitalized.) The ones that got changed became Okay rather than okay. I deleted and reinstalled the app, it's still remembering the last search. I thought I had gotten rid of all the system bits, but obviously I didn't. Is anyone else having this kind of issue? And what can I do about it?

version 14.2 (7041.0.109) on Sequoia 15.1.1

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.1

To prevent instances of OK being replaced by OKay, you would need to use the Match Case option in the Find tool:

That will change every occurrence of OK to okay and not OKay.

Tested: Pages v14.2, macOS Sequoia v15.1.1.

There is something wonky going on in Pages and Numbers. Find and Replace definitely isn't always working. I haven't been able to narrow it down. Sometimes I click on it and it works, sometimes absolutely nothing.

Don't expect the Pages Find/Replace tool to be as articulate and optioned as the one in MS Word or LibreOffice Writer. I have observed no issues during my find/replace attempts in this effort or others preceding it in older versions of Pages. Others have.

Sorry, should have been more clear. It's worked perfectly until a recent update (probably a month or so ago). It seems like a bug with the find & replace pane itself. Sometimes you can type in a word you know exists and nothing happens. And I wouldn't even be able to select the replace field. I'd try again an hour later and it would work as expected. It caught my attention because it happened in Pages & Numbers.

I typed up a paragraph with instances of OK scattered across several lines of text. Using the Find options shown above, it changed all occurrences of OK to lower-case okay. That was my test.
