Switched from iTunes to Apple Music and new playlists not syncing

I am using Windows 11 and iTunes, I also rip a lot of my CDs and make a lot of playlists and playlist folders. When I got a new iPhone 15 I updated to iOS 18. Immediately I started having issues with iTunes. At the Apple store one of the experts told me to switch to the newer version of iTunes. When I did that iTunes only showed up podcasts and books. I was able to eventually point Apple Music to the iTunes music files. I did have to make all new playlist folders, but was able to sync all the music to the phone.

Until I ripped some new CDs and playlists. The only way I could figure to rip a CD is to do it in iTunes (where it would show up as a podcast, then in Apple Music add the files to the library and then make a playlist from the new files. Apple Devices sees the new playlists, but no matter what I try the new playlists do not get transferred to my phone.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
