I am looking for a simple answer here. I do not use iCloud and just wish it would go away, but I do use the Find My app. Will the Find My app work without iCloud?

You have to be signed into iCloud to use Find My but you do not need to use any of the other features of iCloud (e.g., iCloud Photos, iCloud Contacts, iCloud Drive, etc).
