My MacBook Pro Touch bar is not working after updating to macOS 15.1.1

I have the same issue on an M1, no change after several reboots.

13" MBP— I assume this is a Intel...

Have you shut down and restarted more than once since your "update" (?)

On an Intel mac:

—reset the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

—and reset the NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

and compare your results.

all of a sudden, the Touch Bar is back.

All that was done were some more reboots.

I have the same issue on MacBook Pro 2020 with M1 chip.

No more function keys on the keyboard. So frustrated...
