How can I disable the Black Text box on iPhone

Hi,

1. Im pretty sure thats hover typing to disable it go to Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Hover Text, then turn off Hover Text.

I just figured it out. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Keyboards & Typing > Hover Typing and tap to turn it off.

Accessibility-> keyboards and typing -> hover typing

On my iPhone 13 with the latest iOS update there is one more step;

Settings

Accessibility

Keyboard & Typing (extra step)

Hover Text

Turn off Hover Text

Turn off Voiceover

15.3.2: There is no Keyboards and typing. There is keyboards, but link to Hover Text. There is a an Accessibility screen that include Hover Text, but it OFF and I still get consistently annoying Hover text.

Much appreciate your digging for that. The first suggestion didn’t have it, but your extra level of digging worked! It was so annoying every time I typed in that black box. I don’t know how I could have changed that to begin with. Supper annoying. Thanks again!

I have this problem with Facebook. Hover typing and Voiceover are already off. Any other settings that can be turned off?

I get the same box! How do I get rid of it
