Exporting playlists to Text and XML files
Can anyone explain what is the difference between the menu items of exporting playlists to "text" files and "XML" files?

As I found out on my own just testing both of these formats, iTunes WILL import a playlist from the Text file format as it does the XML file format. The Text format does allow YOU to read the playlists you have but it still imports the playlist to the library.
