Apple Vision Pro update keeps pausing

I am trying to update my Vision Pro from 1.0 to 2.1 (I haven’t used it in months). I have been trying for six hours, and every time I request the update it will start updating and then pause midway through.

the device is on a stable internet connection. It is fully charged. I tried deleting the update in the storage but it is not listed. I tried resetting my connection settings. Im not on a VPN. Basically I tried everything google tells me and it is still pausing.

It is about to go in the closet for another six months.
