I had a bunch of things saved to my notes. Book ideas, numbers of people I needed to call, messages I had planned to send, etc. I’ve done the usual going into notes and checking the “On my IPhone” account slider, and there is nothing in the recently deleted folder. Noting on my iCloud account. I NEED theses notes! How can I fix it?!

Can you view them on the iCloud website?

If so, go to Settings > [name on top] > iCloud > Notes, and if the switch in on, then turn it off. You will get a message asking if you want to remove them from your device which you can agree to, because currently to do not have any on your device. Restart the phone, then go to the same setting and turn Notes back on. Wait for them to download in the Notes app.
I had the same issue; I updated my iPhone software a few days ago, and then this morning, all my notes were gone. They were all present yesterday. I cannot see the notes on iCloud.com, and have checked that my mail accounts are still linked. Is there not any way to recover these? Years of notes and data.
