Will deleting my only backup let me make a new one
Hey I wanted to know if I deleted my backup I can make another one and keep the progress I have on my apps currently?

You don't need to delete your old backup in order to make a new one. iCloud backup should have enough room for more than one. It will also label them based on when the backup was created.
