Garage Band 10.4.11 running slow on Sequoia 15.1

Hello there, so I've just updated my 2021 Macbook Pro, to Sequoia 15.1, and I'm using Garage Band 10.4.11 and, my jingo it's running slow! Like.... click.... wait 30 seconds before anything happens kind of slow. No spinning wheel, or other indication of it thinking, or making up it's mind, just frozen. It's super dooper annoying. Does anyone have any hints, tips, or is there a way to get the application back to it's usual, happy speed?!
