Select a number in the middle of other numbers

Hi all,

I am trying to isolate/extract the 43.32% from the cell containing the content, can anyone help with the formula?

85.7021 USD

(43.32%)

≈85.70 USD

If that text is in cell B2,

=TEXTBETWEEN(B2, "(",")")

This will give it to you as the text 43.32%

Note that, as text it, will be ignored (just like any other text) if you use it in a numeric function in a downstream formula. The +-*/ operators will accept it as a number but the functions will not.

=1*TEXTBETWEEN(B2, "(",")")

This will give it to you as the number 0.4332 which you can format as a percentage.
