Apple Intelligence icon not showing on menu bar

Icon not appearing on menu bar. Have already restarted the mac and toggled Apple Intelligence on/off, still not appearing on the menu bar.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.1

As I stated in my earlier post I can already get Siri by pressing CMD 2x but not the AI icon like I have seen in other screenshots/videos on the web. The problem is the AI icon, not the Siri window.

FYI, the "top-ranking" reply can change over time. Best to give the actual author and date. Or, just copy the post, i.e. "bigboyjet, on 1/12 posted....."
