Apple Intelligence Writing Tools unavailable in WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram

I attempted to utilize Apple’s intelligence across various apps on my iPhone and Mac. Notably, Meta’s app, such as Instagram and WhatsApps, prevents me from accessing the Writing Tools.

After updating my WhatsApp in Mac, it stopped working in Mac as well.

Meta apps simply haven't been integrated into Apple Intelligence.  Meta HAS to work with Apple on that.  Not the other way around.

Do you really think all the apps, even in the search bar integrated with Apple intelligence, just before it’s launched? As a user, what I noticed is that the default behavior is that it works(at least for the apps I used), and later I find it stopped working, so I posted and asked if anyone else is facing the same issue.

Report the problem to the third-party app provider, as they have the app source code and knowledge of the app itself, and are in the best position to resolve app bugs, or to identify a reproducer and work with Apple to resolve an Apple bug.

And in the case of Meta, they will undoubtedly want to use their own large language models and not hose of Apple, and will want to collect user metadata via those services. Whether or how much Meta will use the Apple large language models is something that Meta will decide.

Can you please explain what is “user to user forum" means?

We’re other users, like you.

Those folks that work for Apple may or may not read stuff posted around here, and they very seldom post replies.

Third-party providers are less likely to read and post replies here. In recent times, I can recall all of two third-party app providers that have overtly and occasionally posted support responses for their apps around here, and neither of those posters is Meta.

Can't we post our experience or issues here?

And within the parameters set by our hosts, whatever gets posted here will probably remain posted, too.

What’s permissible has varied somewhat over time, as policies and practices at Apple have shifted.

Apple suggests reporting Apple bugs or enhancement requests directly to Apple using their feedback link, or third-party developers reporting their bugs or enhancements (with Apple) to Apple via the developer feedback tools. Apple also suggests users reporting issues or feedback involving third-party apps to report those directly to the third-party app providers. For that latter case, there’s usually a support link available in the app store page for the app.

Everything we use in iPhone owned by Apple or some third-party app. What is this community for?

What is this community for? Some days, it’s seemingly for repeatedly answering Activation Lock questions. Slightly more seriously though, these forums are about Apple users helping with or fixing other users’ problems, or pointing at related documentation or support resources.

Is there any reference about Dos and Don’ts about this forum? I appreciate your help!
