Why do I get error "Writing Tools is unavailable" when opening Apple Intelligence?

Please Help Writing Tools Unavailable - Certain capabilities are unavailable at this time. Try again later.

I've been trying over the last 2 days, and I keep getting this message:

Writing Tools Unavailable

Certain capabilities are unavailable at this time. Try again later.

This error pops up for the following options: Summary, Key Points, List and Table

The error appears in Notes, TextEdit, Safari and Mail.

I've restarted my Mac countless times and turned Apple Intelligence off and on, but I still get the error.

Is there anything I could do to fix this? When I searched for the error, I saw some were experiencing the issue during the 15.1 beta but could not find a solution. I don't know if the problem is on my side or Apple's.

The Writing Tools work fine on my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

My computer is a 16" MacBook Pro M1 Max with 32 gigs of memory.

Does anyone know where I can report this issue directly to Apple?

I understand Apple Intelligence is in beta, but how and where do I report issues?

Thank you!

If any of you have grammarly try quitting it completely I was having the same problem for days and quitting grammarly fixed it. They added an AI update and it seems grammarly AI doesnt get along with Apple Intelligence.

A.I. Writing Tools is still not fully working on my MacBook Pro 16" M1 Max (work laptop). I've wasted too much time trying to figure it out with no luck, so I've turned A.I. off until Apple produces a better A.I. experience. I should have known better; I generally don't run beta software because it may cause more issues than it's worth. I've reinstalled Grammarly and will return to using ChatGPT until Apple figures out their A.I. 😊

his worked and it works in US and UK.

Let's try to reset all settings.

Go to Settings  > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset.

Reset All Settings: All settings—including network settings, the keyboard dictionary, location settings, privacy settings, and Apple Pay cards—are removed or reset to their defaults. No data or media are deleted.

To resolve the issue, I disabled Wi-Fi, connected my battery pack to the phone, disabled Apple Intelligence, rebooted the phone, and then reenabled Apple Intelligence, then disconnected battery pack. After that, the issue was resolved. I understand that the battery pack is an unexpected addition, but I read some forums that mention a weird power thing with this update. Thanks Cballer10.

I have tried everything that is described here, also read many articles on the web. reinstalled and restarted many times. Nothing is working. on the same network on my iPhone it works. but on macOS 15.4, it doesn't.

funny: only proofread works, all the rest doesn't.

I guess I will just forget about apple intelligence on Mac and go back to using Chatgpt app, which actually is reliable, which I can't say about MacOs
