I returned it. Since it was opened, I hope I get a full refund. I bought it from Amazon, so I returned it to Amazon. I wish it worked because I hate having to replace batteries in my older wireless Magic Mouse.

A lot of people saying the same thing but the point is, it makes no difference if you are running macOS 12.xx or 15.xx the mouse and trackpad do not work. I know this because I have used this hardware with Monterey, Ventura and Sequoia, the result is identical.

There is no provision in the Apple settings menu to setup secondary functions such as swipe and scroll for the mouse and there are no settings whatsoever for Trackpad in Ventura or Sequoia.

You all need to return the hardware, then and only then will Apple act on this issue. As long as you pay for it and keep it, there is no come back on Apple, they just make money on something that does do what it says on the box. You may as well be pushing a river stone across your desk.

If you have ever wondered why people buy four wheel drive vehicles and they never take it off road.

Now you can do the same for Mac people because that’s what it is to purchase a Magic Mouse and/or Trackpad, pointless and a waste of money.

Just not as much money as a four wheel drive.

I'm facing same issue with my Magic Mouse, the scroll functionality does not work with 14.7.1.

Apple please provide work around so that this functionality can work, it is troublesome to use the mouse without the scroll functionality.

When this will happen? Have you more info? Do we wait or sell Magic Mouse and keyboard usb c or this is the real magic to not work correct for such expensive money. Magic trash usb c

I am using an M1 chip MBP and just upgraded to iOS 15.1 and I can confirm that my new USB-C Magic Mouse is now scrolling, yay!

sended back the new Magic Mouse (usb-C) and gor a new one. Connected it to my new AppleStudio. And now it scrolls!!!

I have the exact same issue. Is there a solution yet? A patch we can download?

I was having the same problem with my new c type magic mouse but once I updated my mac to os 15.1.1, scrolling worked so well.

Try to update your mac os to the most latest one

Just bought and had the same problem on MacBook with Sonoma 14.6.1. Seems like the solution is to upgrade to Sequoia 15.1.1. A bit extreme if you ask me.

Same. New Magic Mouse USB-C Does Not Scroll. I have Sanoma 14.7.1 version and the Magic Mouse 3 does not scroll.

I've maxed out on Ventura 13.7 and of course, it doesn't work for me either. Guess I'm going to send it back...
