Apple Intelligence is stuck on "Preparing" on iPhone 16 Pro Max

same problem with my 15 pro max

I fixed this issue by going to reset and choosing the “Reset all Settings” button! After my phone turned back on it allowed me to toggle the Apple Intelligence to on. However it is now stuck in an endless phase of downloading with no working features. Hoping for a fix that will make it fully operational for me. 😄

My iPhone 16 pro max also got stuck on preparing. Nothing helped until I completely reset my phone and put my last backup back. Apple Intelligence immediately started working after that 👍

its now putting back all my apps and data.

Soft reset your iPhone volume up volume down lock button and slide to turn off. When you turn it back on apple intelligence should download no problems
