I'm trying to mail merge a Numbers document to make labels. I downloaded the Avery template for Pages. It will only merge so that all the labels per page are the same. I want them to all be different, as a good application should do.

Page's strength is not populating labels, and depending upon how your Numbers or Excel spreadsheet is organized and how you selected sender .vs. recipient fields, you might save yourself considerable time by using Avery's free online Design & Print tool. It has far more flexibility than Pages in building your address sheet.
Very few people, including myself, actually use Mail merge in Pages since it was reimplemented in Pages v12.1. Lame documentation on how to use it effectively and Mail Merge had more functionality in Pages '09 v4.3.
Thanks - I took a peek and Avery's online application looks simpler. Too bad Pages is lacking such a basic function and for such a long time.
