Unwanted, unrelated tooltip display disappeared with macOS 14 and reappeared with macOS 15.0.1

Randomly, when using an application of any type, a random tooltip pops up where the mouse pointer hovers that has the name of a long deleted folder. Looked at previous questions posted here that suggested emptying the Download Folder and emptying Trash. This had absolutely no effect. It did not occur until after recent upgrade to macOS 15.0.1 Sequoia. This has been an ongoing issue for years that Apple has NEVER, EVER addressed or fixed. Can someone from Apple PLEASE ADDRESS THIS. It hovers over key areas of work so that the user cannot see the input on screen. This is absolutely ridiculous!

FWIW, I have never seen what you describe on any install of macOS on any of my Macs.

Apple is not here. This is a user forum. You can send a bug report from the feedback page but it's probably local to your machine.
