Hello, I recently deleted 400 + text threads off my phone. Thinking they would delete off my iCloud to make more storage space. They did not. Apple says I have 165,000 texts / messages in my iCloud and I have no idea how to delete them and clear the storage. Also if anyone knows how to delete files in iCloud that would be great too, thank you!
Open Messages on your iOS device. Tap “Edit” in the upper left, followed by “Show Recently Deleted” in the dropdown. Then choose “Delete All” on the bottom.
You delete files in iCloud Drive by tapping the three horizontal dots in the circle toward the top, choosing “Select”, selecting the file(s) and then tapping the trash can on the bottom.
