I have a contact with two iPhones and the text messages are unified. Meaning that the text messages are merged in one text. I have IOS18.0.1 installed. How do I fix this issue as I need to keep them separate .

If they are iMessages and they are using the same Apple account on both of their devices, then that’s to be expected.
Otherwise, you will need to maintain 2 contact records from them that both contain different phone numbers and email addresses.
Thank you, this has resolved the issue! I do have to add that prior to splitting up the contact information into two separate contacts , I did delete all the existing text messages including the thread that had been sitting still in the deleted.
