Up until updating to IOS 18, I have been able to use Waze (via CarPlay) and my cars SatNav simultaneously to give me up to date traffic information and alternative directions to avoid traffic etc. This allowed me to use screen to display the Waze route and Head up display for the car’s navigation.
However, since updating to IOS 18, this feature has disappeared and now I can only use either or.
Is there a solution for this?

It’s an IOS issue not a car manufacturer issue as this feature worked in multiple cars I have access to. However, it stopped yesterday after the IOS update.
My wife is still running IOS 17 and it still works when she uses CarPlay and the car satnav
Ask the manufacturer of your car. Honestly, I’ve never seen a vehicle that does allow both to be used at the same time.
