Creating Overview taking an extremely long time, and happens every time I start Logic Pro

Every time I launch Logic Pro it gets to a step where it's "Creating Overview" for different tracks. It seems to take quite some time before it finally finishes. Right now it says over 2:39 minutes to finish, and our worship directly; whose more versed in Logic Pro than I am; says it shouldn't take more than a minute.

Also, I deactivated the R on each of our tracks, so it should not be trying to record any tracks whatsoever.

2020 MacBook Pro quad core i5, w/16gb RAM and 500gb internal SSD (119gb free) running macOS Ventura 13.7. Logic Pro is up-to-date. At the time I launch Logic Pro no other programs are running. However, during service I will also have OBS running for live streaming.

I'd never try to launch OBS and Logic at the same time. Both are resource hogs and probably won't play well together.

No, the overview should be super fast, it's a simple GUI function. But then, you're on an old Mac. How long is the project in Logic you're trying to open, and how many tracks? How complex is it?

Try opening the Logic app (not a project) and create a new empty project. Does that work OK?
