My Brother printer has stopped printing on both sides from my ipad
It was printing both sides for a year or more then stopped ….now printing the second page upside down

Check to see if your Brother printer has an available firmware/software update. AirPrint (the protocol used to communicate with many Printers) has been updated in recent versions of iOS/iPadOS.
