Are you looking for an ink jet printer or laser printer? If laser I've had excellent results with HP printers. I stick to Epson or Canon for ink jet. Any listed in the AirPrint document will work with your MBP and do it wirelessly.
Just go to each manufacturer's website and see which will suit your needs and budget.
